But I need to plug into the internet at least once a day to recharge my batteries! CHIII!
In the words of the inestimable Pickles, motherdouchebag.
Apparently the wonderful people who had our new apartment before us forgot to turn off their cable service. Which means we can't get internets until they realize their mistake and shut it off. And Comcast can't be arsed to tell us when that is--we have to call to check.
NEED INTERNETS. NEED. I'm seriously about to start bawling at the thought of multiple weeks without unmonitored internet access. This is also BIG TIEMS ISSUE because I'm on paperless billing for everything--I need internet access to pay my bills and monitor my bank accountand read porn and post fanfiction and download manga.
At least the Comcast Live Help Chat passed the Turing Test, even if 90% of "Ingrid's" responses were copypasta.And I was good and didn't ask her to give me Verizon DSL's number when she said "Is there anything else I can do for you?"
