Just had a hippy weekend, in which I went to the Baltimore Pagan Pride Festival and the Maryland Renaissance Festival (WHYYYYY CAN I NOT GO TO RENN FEST WITHOUT RUNNING INTO A ZILLION PEOPLE I KNOW, MOST OF WHOM I DO NOT LIKE? Oh yeah, that's right--Darkon. ._.) and spent too much money.

In fandom-related news, the increasing popularity of pirates brings me great joy and means I got to see lots of nice stuff at Renn Fest. But really, the part I love best about Renn Fest is the cosplayers. Yes, THAT kind of cosplayers. I saw Link, Belldandy, and Jack Sparrow today. I badly want to crash Pirate Weekend one of these years in OP gear. XD Anime FTW.
