Yay, oral surgery.

Well, it's over and done with. I'm down four teeth and I actually feel really good. The only problem this morning was that they couldn't get a vein in the back of my hand for the anesthesia so they had to use the one in my wrist. No bad reactions to the anesthetic (unless a strange dream about Family Guy reruns constitutes a bad reaction), no issues getting the teeth out, no major swelling, no nothing so far other than a mouthful of gauze. I'm on literally no painkillers and I feel fine. The only issue is that I'm currently living on mashed potatoes and Jones soda. There's so much Halloween candy here and I can't have ANY of it. ;_;

I have it from a reliable source that blending tasty foods to a drinkable texture almost always ends in tears. Maybe a milkshake tomorrow....

Yeah milkshakes are a awesome idea!! (I like malts myself!!) But I hope all goes well for you. And you did sneeze blood everywhere like I did so thats a plus!!

...the worst part of mine was the anesthesia too. The nurse couldn't find my vein in one arm and when she was done with it I had a huge bruise that showed up on BOTH sides of my elbow. How creepy is that?

Tch, oral surgery... but at least it's over with, like you said. We'll cross our fingers that the pain stays away and everything heals up as quickly as possible, so that you can get to some of that candy before it's gone. :)
