If you have any interest in scientific philosophy or ethics, see this movie. It's essentially two beautifully animated hours of science as a tool/means of making money/means of taking or maintaining power versus science as a way to make people happy/a way to improve the world/simply for science's sake. There are marvelous grey areas to all of these, as there always are with ethics problems.
