It snowed (see: very cold rain) yesterday, and on my way to work, I saw an old man fall over. He was fine, but it was an epic bail. XDD


Aaand, I'm happy becaue in two weeks, two of my besssst friends are coming back from university for my friend's birthday. PARTY TIMES!! :D

Hrm, let's see...

Well, when I'm feeling down (or angry about something) my cat usually manages to improve my mood, so here goes a funny story about her.

I have a broken pc chair, the kind that is all squishy and spins. No human can sit on it because it gives under the weight, but my cat adopted it as hers so I haven't been able to throw it away. And a good thing I haven't, because it's turned out to be a source of amusement I hadn't anticipated.
How? Well, one very boring afternoon I was watching my cat snooze on her chair when I came across the idea to make the chair spin while she was on it. I thought my cat would get scared and jump off at the first spin, but to my surprise... she grabbed on.
After several quick spins she finally seemed to get dizzy and jumped off... only to be unable to walk in a straight line. Did that discourage her? no! once the world had stopped spinning, she promptly jumped back onto the chair, grabbed on harder than before and looked at me, as if commaning me to do it again. Now it has turned into a favourite pastime of hers... and mine. It never gets old to watch her stagger drunkenly around the living room. XD

If she were human, she would surely be the kind to enjoy the most dangerous rides in amusement parks. My cat is an adrenaline junkie!

I am apparently the favorite person of one of my roommates' cats. Mia thinks I'm the best thing ever and shows it by never leaving me alone whenever I leave my room. I have to put up with that cat following me into the bathroom. When I'm standing there, she'll get up on her hind legs and lick my fingers and push her head against my hand until I pet her. She'll keep licking my fingers while I'm petting her. The only other person she has ever done this to is my dad. Dad doesn't like cats. Now imagine a 6-foot farmer giving weird looks at and moving constantly away from a little cat. It amused the hell out of me.

A little late, but this weekend I had a bit of free time and went through a lot (oh, boy do I mean a lot) of your One Piece fiction. It reminded me of why I troll through a lot of the poorly written, middle-school level fic out there... to find stuff like yours. And even if you never write again (because totally no pressure here whatsoever, I understand that RL is hideous at times) I am still grateful to have been able to read all the stuff you have written and shared with the OP community. *nods*
