Apartment-hunting seemed successful. We flushed out four aparments today. One was ugly, so we threw it back. Another was too small, so we tossed it back as well. The one we're thinking about having stuffed and mounted has a lovely pelt and two baths.

I'll write more soon. Really I will. But first I have to deal with jobhunting bullshit and this unfortunate problem I've been having lately with staying asleep longer than an hour. I'm about ready to kill Zoro and squeeze out his essence in hopes of acquiring his ability to sleep through anything, as it seems right now that molecular vibrations can wake me up. Blarg.

I don't get why people think that the ability to sleep through anything is such a good thing. It can be quite a pain, really.

But, yeah. Sleep is more important than writing, anytime. I hope it gets better. :)

Job hunting sucks...my agencies are offering junk for $8 to $10 an hour, which is HALF what it takes to live off of. "Senior Staff Accountant" was listed at $11 per hour. I mean, come ON! I was making $16 an hour as a lowly billing clerk 2 years ago.

Admittedly, sleeping through everything isn't good. I have three alarm clocks as a testament to this fact. But right now I'd settle for not waking up ten or twelve times a night. And possibly not getting woken up by firefighters calling and asking you to donate money that you don't have. Arg.

I'd do a happydance if I picked up a $10 an hour job--it's what my last one was paying me and I lived quite comfortably on it. Then again, I'm single and renting an apartment. Pulling in more than a grand a month constitutes "comfortable living" for me. Considering right now I'm trying to make it on the last of my savings, $500 of which is for bills, I'd squee for $8 an hour too. At least I have (or had) savings--my friends always wondered why I worked more and got paid more than most of them and never had any money. Now they know. XD

Ooo, two baths is good. *looked up definition of "pelt"* ANIMAL SKIN O.O...ToT poor animal. Looks like we're both job hunting. GOOD LUCK *waves Zoro's flag, the one from your icon, for good luck* I'm guessing your having trouble sleeping, poor you. Curl up somewhere super comfy; always works for me.

Apartment-type animals are meant to be hunted! How else can you catch one and live in it?

I hope my sleep problems clear up soon...I'm very tired. =.=
