So then...last night was the second-to-last session of the chronicle that we've been running for...crap, three, three and a half years. We're converting over to the new White Wolf system, and essentially resetting the universe. Characters are different, but they're the same characters. Admittedly, the chronicle will have an immediate sequel, but...damn. After last night, we don't get to see most of the NPCs anymore. Ever. Even the ones that made it to the sequel chronicle aren't exactly the same after. I didn't even think about it until [livejournal.com profile] jacks_shadow pointed out that he was destroying his world.

The Endgame is ending. The game that so ate our brains that we respond to our characters' names shouted across a room. Ending, but not.

I want a Red Light Special for the road.

There. Utter geekery dealt with.

Splintery wrist pain of doom! Probably a sign that I spend too much time typing on my non-ergonomic laptop and mousing in a position that's shitty for my wrist.

My can of Drama-B-Gone must have run out, because the stuff seems to be finding me and my usual "I ain't in this" doesn't seem to be working.

Had a Smoker/Zeff plotbunny, but it's bad. If I write it, it'll need serious fixing. I'm coming up on a milestone in my fandom insanity--I'll announce it when it happens. ^_^

ETA: Where the fuck is my origami paper? I got bit by a craftbunny and I don't want to practice on the dollar-a-sheet rice paper that's all I can find at the moment...

Ooo, poor world and characters and all the players. All of you must of been really close and then for the RPG world to end just like that. At least you said that all of you were starting again. Poor wrist, just think of it as the pain of sorrow for your character. Ooo, I think everyone wishes that they didn't have drama, but if that happened then this would be an unfilled and lazy life cause usually drama puts us in a situation that we either question what we think or we find ourselves trying to comfort others.

Well, we all knew it was ending, but we hadn't really thought about it until last night. We are rather phenomenally close--my gaming group is my nakama, really, and I can't imagine life without those five.

My wrist is more likely incipient carpal tunnel or a sign that I'm overusing it. I do spend a lot of time typing now, and I spent a hell of a lot of time doing repetitive motions at work before this.

In this case, the drama is of the unnecessary angst-causing kind--the sort that gives all involved a headache.
