My morning went as follows:
9:15am: Wake up early for a change.
9:18am: Roll over, poke computer. Yes, it's right next to my bed, shut up.
9:19am: Flea jumps onto hand. Squish flea, promptly go check cat.
9:25am: Drive to Petco, obtain things of flea!death.
9:55am: Bathe cat. Learn new meaning of pain. Surprised Vivi so well behaved.
10:20am: Buckle flea collar onto damp cat, go forth to attack the apartment with flea spray.
11:30am: Finish spraying. Wash hands thoroughly.
11:50am: Finally regain some feeling in right index finger, now right wrist and forearm starting to cramp. Enthused--at least the fleas won't fair any better than my poor nerve cells. Also, spray is mad hardcore and also kills cockroaches--good, as our next-door neighbors are not very tidy and so we've had sightings of said brown creepy insects.

Now I just need to figure out how the hell Vivi got fleas in the first place (she's an indoor cat) and we'll be good.

Maybe she got the fleas from one of you since you and Tiff do go in and out of the apartment. Why did your forearm and wrist start to cramp? You sound like a queen who gets to stay in her comfy bed with a kitty and just has to slightly reach out for the computer. Oh yes, giving a cat is so much fun, especially when they start clinging to your arm while also trying to get out of the bath-tub.

Man, I can handle seeing roaches in a house, but a few days ago, horseflies took over my dining room AND my kitchen. My sister ended up just going old school and started hitting them with a rolled up newspaper. One day she killed 15 and then the next day she killed 17.

It's a possibility, esecially if one of us went walking through tall grass. And my forearm and wrist started to cramp in reaction to the poision in the flea spray--I got it on my skin and by the time I washed it off, some of it had already been absorbed.
