I'm looking forward to the weekend...wait, no I'm not. I have homework due Saturday by e-mail. Saturday morning, nach. Sigh.
School does not leave me time for plotbunnies, and one has been gnawing upon me since yesterday. Actually, two of them have. One is Vash/Wolfwood, the other is Omi/Yohji. Wargle. Must write....
Speaking of "must write," I've actually come up with a career idea that I might enjoy:
Science journal ghostwriting.
Just because you're a brilliant scientist with a frabulous new discovery that will shake the world doesn't mean you can write for shit. If your article is t3h suxx0rz, people won't read it. In a "publish or perish" scientific society, that's bad. So a lot of people get other people to write their articles. They do the research, but someone else does the actual wordcrafting. Since I'm good at that sort of BS and knowledgeable enough to write intelligently about it, it sounds like something I could do. Professionally. Oh, happy day. I've found something that doesn't bring me despair when I contemplate doing it for a job. Wee.
One of these days, I'll post ficcage. I know it's an exercise in futility, but still, I can pretend that people actually read it. Mou.
