Why?
Because I went over to Tiff's grandmother's for Thanksgiving. You know what we had for dessert?
WARM APPLE PIE.
And I had to keep a straight face with Tiff pointing at the pie and making faces at me behind her grandmother's back. I could have killed her for the "Gee, Chibi, that pie looks just like the one in your icon," comment. *ded*
In unrelated news, if you do participate in the celebration of conspicious consumption better known as Black Friday, please remember to be kind to the store employees. This is the worst day of the year for them--they're doing ten times the business they usually do, they had to get up fuck-all early, they're shifting their signage and pricing all damn day and dealing with the whining that results from some entitlement bitch realizing that she's ten minutes too late for the sale she wanted, their holiday hires are still largely untrained, and on top of it all this is one of the biggest shoplifting days of the year. Every nice person helps. [/PSA]

Date: 2006-11-24 10:20 pm (UTC)I stayed away from all the stores and yesterday when I was driving from my aunt's house, I saw people camping out in front of all the electronic stores like Best Buy and Circuit City. 8:30 pm and they're already making camp.
