Happy Gregorian New Year, everyone. May it be fabulous and alcoholtabulous for those of you that are overage, and for those of you that are underage...well, better luck next year. I'm having a geektastic New Year's--drunken tabletop gaming 'til midnight, HARDCORE. 8B


New Year's Resolutions:

1. The commonplaces: join a gym, clean more, take better care of my car.

2. Not give up writing in a fit of self-loathing and low self-esteem.

3. Keep my job.

4. Not die.

5. Drink more, because this year was a pansy one for getting properly drunk.

6. Go to Yaoi-Con, dammit.

7. Get a tattoo, dammit.

8. Move the hell out of this shithole apartment, dammit.

9. Save more money so 6, 7, and 8 can happen.

10. Keep the awesome friends I have and maybe make some new ones.

I was thinking of getting a Marine seagull-and-wrench on my left wrist if I can ever find a picture of it bigger than 50x50. I figured it was an appropriate reminder to pursue justice and avoid corruption, especially considering that I work for the government. *expires of geekdom*

4 sounds like a good one. 5 too, although for myself I heartily resolve to NOT drink vodka and then eat half a bag of carrots like a drunken moron.

And 6, YES you must come. YES.

And 7...One Piece tattoo-ness would be sweet. XD I have the kanji for 'kaizoku' myself and I'm thinking of throwing the Mugiwara and Akigami symbols to either side of it. Geeky tattoos are the best kind!

Excellent resolutions! Happy new year as well. =D As for the OP tattoo, I fully support that idea. I have a jolly roger I designed. Most of my tattoos are anime-fan related. If they mean something to you, go for it!
