The lovely dethorats gave me some interview questions, and I shall try my hardest to answer them with a DON!

1. There sure are a heck of a lot of characters in the One Piece universe. Of course we all love the Straw Hats, what with them being the main characters and all, but which character out of all the people Oda has written about (minus the Straw Hats) is your favorite and why?

ZEFF. Hands down. He's a grumpy old bastard, and I've got a soft spot for those types of characters. He's also the best chef in the world, a successful entrepreneur, a grower of fabulous moustaches, and A SHINING EXAMPLE TO SINGLE FATHERS EVERYWHERE OF HOW NOT TO RAISE A CHILD. I want more backstory on him, and it made my heartmeats warm and squishy when Sanji got an Official Pirate Moniker(tm) that was so close to Zeff's.

And he's totally Smoker's long lost lover. That too.

2. So, I know you got your degree in some sort of science. When did you first know that was what you wanted to pursue in life and how did you choose the field you ultimately chose?

My degree is in biology fat lot of good it's done me, and I knew I wanted to go into the sciences--particularly the biologic sciences--when my mother let me read her college biology textbook at the tender age of six. At that age, I was mostly making big eyes at the pictures and understanding only about half of what I read, but that book had VERY pretty pictures.

3. What, in your opinion, are the best things and the worst things about living in Maryland?

The best thing about living in Maryland? Crabs and the retarded, near-mindless love most Marylanders have for the silt- and pollution-saturated puddle that is the Chesapeake Bay. :D They might not care about landfills, radioactive waste, air pollution, or global warming, but tell even the dumbest redneck farmer from Frederick County that if he dumps his tractor oil down the storm drain it'll hurt the Bay, and he'll stop right quick. XD

The worst thing about Maryland? Western Maryland.

4. Do you ever randomly wake up in the middle of the night with food cravings? And if so, what is it that your stomach demands?

Wake up? No. Get? Yes. And it's usually for sushi.

5. So, you have the opportunity to join a metal band and, by some amazing twist of fate, you're an incredibly gifted musician. What role (i.e. lead singer, lead guitarist, drummer, etc.) do you take on?

1. Sanji, in a freak twist of fate, must get married (to a girl) or have his hands chopped off. Which girl, out of all the girls in the OP-verse, do you call up on the DenDen and ask to marry the poor boy, why do you call her, and how do you talk her into marrying him?

The White House is (technically) in Eastern Maryland, as DC's on our side of the Potomac. Camp David is in Western Maryland. And Western Maryland is the part of Maryland that's still vaguely sorry it didn't secede during the Civil War.
