My favorite necklace snagged on a very large, very heavy bag of trash as I was flinging it into the dumpster. The chain broke and necklace followed trash. I promptly scrambled up a fence and jumped into the dumpster because dammit, I've had this necklace for over a decade and no fucking trash bag is going to take it away from me. After I found my necklace in the (mostly empty) dumpster and was standing there going "MINE! ♥", I realized there was no fence inside to help me climb out. D:

I wound up doing a weird sideways wall-walk-type-thing that pulled some msucles in my shoulder, but yes, I escaped, with my necklace tucked firmly in my pocket. ♥

Sheesh, you lead an adventurous life. I hope you didn't hurt yourself too badly climbing out of the dumpster but I'm glad you got your necklace back!

I guess I didn't love my 2 1/2 gallon aquarium all that much. I was just supposed to be dumping out the old gravel, and the whole tank fell from my grip and into the dumpster. Since I didn't have any fish to put in it, and since the top of the dumpster was at head-height, I decided what the heck...if I ever wanted fish again I'd just get all new stuff, tank and all.
