Happy Halloween/Samhain, everyone! And thank you so much to everyone who wished me a happy birthday yesterday! ♥

My wisdom teeth come out at 9am tomorrow. I've never had general anesthesia or major dental work done before--I'm nervous as all hell. ;_;

At least I got to have Halloween candy beforehand (no trick-or-treaters came to our apartment, though I saw some Narutards being candy ninjas down the street). I'm going to have my last soda now and that'll be it for me until after them teefs are out. Please forgive any stupidity I may post while drugged and miserable. >>;

ETA: Help me, Emmy-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope. I've had Murmaider stuck in my head all day. Please give me a download of it so I might purge it from my brain or at least get the checklist part right when I'm walking around singing it badly. ;_; BTW, a happy anniversary to yous and Brians.

Present indeed, considering my mother gave me the money to get them out for my birthday. >>; I could have afforded it on my own, but my mother latched onto me joking about it like a starving woman. I've told her I want nothing for my birthday for the last two years and it drove her nuts, which is good because she has always pulled the exact same shit on me for as long as I can remember. "You don't have to get me anything, honey," my ass. BOOYAH MOMS, BOOYAH.

Hi, I've lurked on over from maldoror's journal for your brilliant fic.

As for wisdom teeth I wouldn't worry about it too much. All four of mine were impacted (2 had to be taken out when I was 14 because they were preventing my molars from coming in) and getting them removed really wasn't very awful. The worst part was when my pain killers had me hallucinating a day later (i stopped taking them after that).


Of course it's different for everyone. Good luck with that, happy Halloween, and a belated happy birthday.

I think anything you read after Mal's fic is going to be a disappointment, but welcome to my humble journal. XD Hopefully there'll actually be, y'know, new fic here someday. >>;

I've never actually taken prescription pain killers, though they've been prescribed to me a few times. I fail at pharmaceutical experience. ;_; Hopefully I won't wind up tripping on them--if I'm lucky, they'll make me sleepy so I can pass out for a while.

Don't be nervous. Getting your wisdom teeth out isn't fun but it is routine. It'll be over before you know it and you can grouse in a mumbly, sore sort of way about how you can only eat crap like soup or jello for a few days.

PS: I find general anesthesia to be very entertaining in an educational, mind-widening sense.

Eeee, thanks you! ♥ I got some weird looks yesterday for wandering around muttering "Murder, mermaid murder"--now at least I have the song to go with it.

Will's actually taking me to go get milkshakes afterwards. I'm looking forward to that and to sleeping for most of the day if possible. God, I'm lazy.
