A day of ups and downs...

On the YAY-o-meter, I finally had both the money and the access and I bought Matter+Form today. W007! VNV Nation is playing here on June 26th--if I can get the cash together and get someone to come with me, I'd like very much to go see them.

On the Suck-o-meter, our AC is broken. Again. Last time it was vandals (our AC unit is on the ground, while we are on the third floor--yay for apartment logic), it's probably the same thing this time OR the problem wasn't fixed correctly the first time. It's like 85 degrees in here.

On the Bleh-o-meter, plotbunny_tiff owes me a dollar. Normally I'd be excited about winning a bet, but in this case I bet that a friend of mine wouldn't say hello to me and would spend all the time around me speaking over my head like I wasn't there and won. Sigh. I'm not THAT short. Maybe if I kick him in the shins next time.

On the Hooray-o-meter, I am now the owner of an Outlaw Star boxed set after giving plotbunny_tiff $20 to not trade it in for food money.

Then again, this is the sad sad fangirl who owns a legit (non-bootleg) copy of Burning Empires, so take that as you will. ^^;;


They're playing at Nation, right? (I'm assuming this is for DC.) I saw them there during their last mini-tour right before New Years. Good venue. ^_^

Yupyup. I hate going to concerts alone, and none of my friends like electronic music, but this might get me to go trekking gdown to DC alone.

You realize that as a good friend, and just short of a brother to you, you realize that there's no way that I'd let you go trekking around DC alone, late at night (as all concerts seem to end late at night)....
