I got asked to speak at a fanfiction panel at Otakon.

I think my brains just overloaded and died. O_o

Of course, saying something so early guarantees that something will happen that will prevent the panel from going on or me from speaking. It'll save me the pain of dying from nerves, at least. ^_^;

Hee hee. Really, though, it shouldn't be too bad. I've been in a panel, although it was kareoke, and I've had some friends do fanfic and cosplay panels and the like. As long as you speak up loud enough for people to hear, you'll be doing better than 90% of the other panelists. XD;

Heh, I usually speak very softly. They also usually have mics at Otakon panels, though, so I'll jsut have to mind the microphone...which will still put me ahead of 90% of other panelists at Otakon. XD

Nah. I'm only a B-grade Intarweb Celebrity at best. I just know the guys running the panel--we're con-buddies, and one of them is dating a friend of mine. They went "Hey, chibi_trillian writes boysex on LJ and critiques fanfic on a regular basis, and her stuff doesn't suck too much. PERFECT!" XD
