I apologize again for venting on here. I wish I could promise fiction soon, but I'm not liable to be able to sit down and write uninterrupted before Sunday. Might squidgen out a drabble. Might do that now, before I am deprived of my typey-thingie for a couple of days.

In ficpanel news, we've gotten the ball rolling, paperworkwise, and worked out what we'll actually be talking about. My fellow panelists will be chapel_82 and HungrySano. If you've been to Otakon before, you might remember chapel_82 as the Reverend Brother Pastor Deacon Doctor Nicholas D. Wolfwood. Woot.

Otakon's bureaucracy makes me sad, sometimes. REALLY sad. I knew about this sort of thing (Tiff's staffed Otakon and done a couple of events with them before), but still...damn. Why bother making us fill out an online application for the panel if you're going to send us a form letter requesting the exact same thing, but snail-mailed to Rhode Island? X.x

You really shouldn't apologize--I find myself doing the same thing (ranting/venting, then apologizing) and it feels very natural, but then I really don't think other people should do the same! If that makes sense...

Just remember: people wouldn't be on your friends-list if they didn't like you, and didn't care about your problems [end cheesy message of validation...uh...]

Yeah, it kind of does. I'll feel like shit for doing such-and-such, but don't mind at all when someone else does the exact same thing--like bitching on LJ. ^.^;
