chibi_trillianBack from con and somewhat awake now. I took forty-five pictures this con, which is forty more than I usually take at conventions. I also FAILED at camera all weekend, possibly due to my irrational hatred of using flash photography.
This Otakon was stunningly drama- and angst-free. We got all that out of the way before the con. :D

blodhemn volunteered his car to go pick up luco_millian from the airport. The picking-up part turned out well, but blodhemn's CD wallet fell out of his car while he was getting his parking ticket and we didn't notice until we'd picked up luco_millian and were on our way out of the airport, by which point it had vanished without a trace. Said CD wallet had +$1000 worth of metal imports and out of print CDs in it. ;_; Much swearing was had. Dropped luco_millian off at her hotel, went back home, packed, and rode the subway over to the hotel. Checked in, pre-regged, and met up with people with relatively few problems.
Friday: Tiff's Takarazuka panel, intense poverty, and awesome Jinginai Time cosplay. My panel was retarded. Seriously. But we got to read porn out loud, so it was all good.
Saturday: Cinnaminis of pain for breakfast and jawsome Pickles cosplay. Funimation OP Panel with no footage--damn. Oda-sensei and Toei apparently presonally approved the American VAs this time around, which brings me some confidence that this won't be nuclear suckage. The promise of uncut DVDs with Zoro being Zoro and Smoker being Smoker and Sanji having his cancer sticks brings me more confidence. Missed the BJD panel--damn.
Sunday: Last minute dealer's room run and thenblodhemn and I rolled out of there at 11am to get back home and fix my brakes. Long elevator wait was long, so we wound up walking down twenty flights of stairs. D:

Jinginai!Shanks is on the warpath! No one crosses the Akagami Family and lives!

Jinginai!Ben is kind enough to give Luffione a choice between sleeping with the fishes and a more traditional whacking.
