Really, this whole LJ Strikethrough Part Deux (or should it be Boldthrough now?) thing makes more sense if you look at LJ as Ike Turner and Fandom as Tina Turner.

LJ: *beats Fandom like redheaded stepchild*
Fandom: "I'm leaving you!"
LJ: "Baby, don't be like that. I promise I won't do it again; I love you! Here, have some roses in the form of unbanning some people."
Fandom: *sniffles, wipes blood off of split lip* "You mean it?"

LJ: *BANSMACK!* "You're nothing without me, bitch!"
Fandom: "I'm leaving you!"
