Just for Em: I like Sausage Festival!
Okay, I'm done being a tard now.
Finally got over to Record & Tape Traders last night and it turned out the exact opposite of how I was expecting--I found a used copy of Assemblage 23's Defiance album just sitting on the shelf like "Bitch, what took you so long?" but not only were they fresh out of every Kamelot album except Ghost opera, I couldn't even order Karma because it was out of print and none of their stores had it used. Emo tears foreveeeeeer. ;_; Now I have to actually order it online, which takes all the fun out of picking it up at the store.
I also grabbed a random In Strict Confidence import CD. I haven't had a chance to do more than glance at it thus far. The liner notes are all in German, but it was $3 so I'm still trying to figure out if it's full of anthrax or something because import CDs are never that cheap. Singles, sometimes, but most singles don't come with ten tracks unless the ten tracks are all remixes of the same damn thing (I'm looking at you, Edge of Dawn).
In non-music news, Yaoi-Con approaches. I AM TERRIBLY EXCITED. I am also determined to write something, even if it's just a drabble for OPY100, so I can say "I write fanfic" instead of "I used to write fanfic." PRESENT TENSE WILL BE MINE.
In other non-music news, dentist's appointment Tuesday. D: I are scared.
ETA: WAITWHUT?! I just got an email from the guy I buy my P.o.P.s from, asking me if I want to preorder the one coming out at the tail end of January...
Mr. 2 Bon Clay.
HOLY SHIT, WAS I THE ONLY ONE WHO DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THIS?

Date: 2007-10-06 03:18 am (UTC)As for Mr. 2, I got that email today! It is....truly something. Now where the heck is SHANKS?!
As for Kamelot - I know where you can buy it. Or at least, probably. The FYE down in Arundel Mills is metal-riffic and that's where I got 2 albums. If not there, perhaps Record and Tape Traders? Would you like me to check here in Frederick?

Date: 2007-10-06 03:32 am (UTC)Record & Tape Traders is actually where I went. >>; According to their computers, no used copies of Karma have been turned in and they don't have any new ones. I'll probably wind up going to Sound Garden in Baltimore--at least if I can't find it, I can take home some industrial music to soothe my disappointment because THEY ACTUALLY HAVE AN INDUSTRIAL SECTION OMG. And it's right next to the metal section so hey, short walk.
