Happy Belated Gregorian New Year.

New Year's Resolutions:
~Get a new job.
~Get to my current job on time in the mornings.
~Clean my goddamn apartment.
~Fend off stagnation and depression for a whole year. Ganbatte, ne?
~Finally accomplish one of my life goals, preferably the one that involves finding a Buddhist monk and asking if I can rub his head.

New Year's Realisations:
~Zoro can't sing to save his life.
~Sanji sings like he's fucking the microphone, your girlfriend, and your mom.
~I'm actually rather fond of Usopp's singing voice.
~I'm in serious danger of turning into an Usopp fangirl.
~I'm a hack writer.
~I inspire others to fandom abuse. Behold, tapdancing Sanji in two parts. I'm also partially responsible for the word "jalousie" being a Source of Much Zoro-Related Whimsy.
~I should get a life. Fuck that, I'm getting a cat instead. Lower maintenance and way cuter. Meow.

*A friend with a Buddha belly may not be as lucky, but there isn't the awkward awkwardness there would be with a monk. Actually, there probably wouldn't be any awkwardness with buddhist monks, there's just this aura of cool around them. Well, the Buddha-bellied friend is probably easier to find.

Zoro can't sing? He sounds okay in Family. Not the best - Luffy's got him beat hands down - but he seems capable of carrying a tune. I must admit I haven't heard any other song where he sings. I must agree with you on Sanji and Usopp's singing voices, though.

He sounds pretty crappy in "Sekai Ichi no Otoko to Yobareru Tame ni," mostly because he's scraping the top of his range to sound good with the other guys. That's the only time I've heard him sing, though, so I'm biased. I need a larger representative sample to draw definite conclusions on the quality of Zoro's singing.

You can fend of stagnation and depression with the knowledge that somewhere (you know where) there is a person who should be doing something else but is instead working on a doujinshi largely inspired yours and your roommate's fics. And you are not a hack writer. I don't draw for hack writers. You should know this by now. You're so not allowed to say that again, you can't even do a cross out.

And getting a cat constitutes as having a life. Especially if it's anything like Ebony. ^~

Ooo, good goals and yes, it would be fun to rub a monk's head. I like Zoro's singing voice (my fav. charater single is "Spirit of Zoro", but he does try. I always found it hard to find Sanji's singing voice when they sing in groups (either it always gets lost or it sounds like Zoro's, just a little higher). Your right for liking Usopp's voice, he's had experience singing for he played Ryuichi in "Gravitation" and had to do some character singles for it (but overall, he's had alot of experience b/c he gets all the anime with long series, ex. Inuyasha, One Piece, Looney tunes; it's not anime and it's probably over there, but he did bugs bunny)

Many questions! Therefore, I must write many answers.

I'm not really very cool, and my job is seriously uncool. I'm a lab assistant in an R&D laboratory. This means I do my boss' job for a tenth of his pay, which makes my company very happy, because my boss is busy doing the job of his boss and three of his former coworkers. Drudgery (hard work for little pay) is had by all.

"Pagan," as I'm using it, is a generic term for someone who follows an earth-based religion.

I've got two sets of Nightcrawler's 80's miniseries, one of his more recent miniseries, and the entirety of his series in both serial and graphic novel format. He's my favorite superhero.

Final Fantasy VII Special Edition and Agony in Pink are notoriously bad fanfics. FFVIISE includes weird chocobo porn, and AiP is a Power Rangers torture and snuff fic. Trust me, you don't want to read them. I read them more as a test of my mental fortitude and squickability factor than anything else.
