Title: Losing Battle
Series: One Piece
One Piece: Not mine.
Word Count: 320.
Pairing: Sanji/Usopp.
Summary: Usopp's half of Taste Test. You might want to read Taste Test first (as that's the order they were written in) but I don't think there will be storydeath if you read them out of order.
Your lips are softer than they have any right to be. You’re so hard, so smooth and strong on the outside, that somehow it seems like a shock that your lips and tongue are gentle on my captured fingertip. I want to draw a picture of you as you are right now, with the spiral of your eyebrow and the lines of your face and the sweep of your hair conspiring to pull your entire being into focus on your mouth. The hand that sketches is held by your own clever ones, though, and the finger that guides the pencil has been slipped into that intense mouth.
I want to tell a thousand stories about you, weave you in a web of my words until you belong to no one but me. But the words don’t come, as if your hungry mouth has eaten them all along with half of my finger. The slow sweeps of your tongue smooth away my cleverness and my lies until all that is left is you and what you do to me. It’s strange, not thinking, only feeling. Even when everything else has failed me, my wits never have…until now.
You’ve stolen almost all of my finger. It belongs to you now, not me. The scrape of your stubble on my knuckles makes me shiver, and you open your eyes just long enough to fix me with a reproachful look. The slide of your tongue drives away the last of my pride and there’s nothing left but need and want. I need you, I want you, you and your sensuality, your mouth and your lips and your tongue.
You’re the one who let down your guard, but somehow I’m the one who lost this battle. It’s too late to run, too late to use trickery, too late to improvise a new weapon. The only option left for me is surrender.
Conquer me, my love.
