I hate getting assdialed. ESPECIALLY at 5:30 in the morning. And doubly so when I can't get back to sleep again thanks to a rage-induced skullfuckingly bad headache, so I just get up and kick Careerbuilder and curse at the number of fucktarded employers who can't be bothered to fill out their experience and qualifications sections properly. After all, it's not their time that's getting wasted...

Anyway. Onto happier things.


Some friends of mine are massively into takarazuka. Takarazuka is a form of specialised acting where all roles, including men, are played by women. My friends will be cosplaying to Otakon as characters from the takarazuka play "Elizabeth." Two of them will be cosplaying as male characters. Now, this would normally be crossplay. However, they are cosplaying as male characters played by female actors--cosplaying a character who is essentially already being crossplayed.

The question is, are my friends cosplaying or crossplaying? Crosscosplaying? Coscrossplaying? If a man cosplayed as a male character from a takarazuka, would he be crossplaying? Does it even matter, since all crossplayers are cosplayers, but not all cosplayers are crossplayers? And will it even come up, considering that takarazuka is a relatively miniscule fandom as not that many people are into something that is essentially "dip me in sequins and hair gel and feed me to the lesbians--to music!" and for which maybe 0.01% of the existing footage and scripts are actually translated? (I love you psychoteffy, please don't kill me for mocking the hair gel of DOOM and shininess.)

My brain hurts, and in more ways than one.

When you say dialed at 5:30 am, does that mean that you get telemarketers calling you? Their really annoying, but I think anybody waking you up at 5:30 am is annoying (even if it's for school. I get up at 5:40 am every weekday).

No, I got assdialed--I think someone sat on their cellphone and accidentally dialed our number. So I got thirty seconds of faint noise and then I got hung up on, hence my vast annoyance. At least a telemarketer I would have been able to ream out and threaten with legal action--our number is on the National Do Not Call List.

Yeesh. I used to get up at 6:00 in the morning in middle and high school, but 5:40 is crazy-talk. I am hardcore not a morning person. The only time I want to see dawn is if I haven't gone to bed yet.
