Hey, Maryland made fifth most dangerous state to live in this year, with the highest rate of robberies in the nation. Detroit may have robbed us of our Murder Capital of the United States title, but we're holding onto our Cancer Capital and Robbery Capital status. At least the article included a beautiful shot of the Inner Harbor at sunset, and we ARE improving--last year we were fourth.

Apartment-hunting todaymorrow. Those apartments are wily beasts, but [livejournal.com profile] plotbunny_tiff and I shall be cunning and intelligent and otherwise 1337 and beard them in their dens. And possibly their lofts as well.

I keep getting the urge to write an Alabasta Chaka/Pell-ish fic to this song...but it would be EMO, all caps.

Ooo, who knew that such a little place can be so dangerous. In case anyone is curious (and I was >.> <.<) I found the listing you were talking about. Yay for Texas not being on there.

Top 10 Most Dangerous States, 2005

1. Nevada
2. Louisiana
3. New Mexico
4. Arizona
5. Maryland
6. South Carolina
7. Florida
8. Tennessee
9. Alaska
10.California

When apartment hunting, do you look for room size and prices or are there other things that go in to it? You both need strong minds to not get pulled into any cheap tricks people might pull. I say go for it. FOLLOW THE MUSIC...ITS A TRAP BY THE PLOT BUNNIES O.O

You have to look at apartment size, price, floorplan, location, utilities, building construction, neighbors, availability, services, and staff. It's a lot of factors to examine, and apartment complexes will pull a lot of bullshit to minimize their flaws. Luckily, we found an apartment complex we really liked today. ^_^
