Future Past Perfect...

Weeee...a weekend living in the wrong century, and it wasn't even a Darkon campout. Saturday was Darkonian Susie-homemaker day. As my country had to change its symbol (looked too much like Myriador my ass...for one important difference, Myriador's symbol is, well, BLUE and ours rather profoundly isn't) we have to get new surcoasts done before Feast on Friday. We have learned that burlap holds spray paint poorly, and the Teffy is a sewing goddess. I bought a LOT of fabric on Saturday..one disadvantage to being in a country that doesn't demand dues, all expenses come out of members' pockets. Ah well, I don't mind.

Sunday was Renn Faire. I love Faire. I got a new skirt, a tail ("A magnificent tail!"), a skunk tail for Artex, and my obligatory cheesecake on a stick. Teffy bought a corset, and Tiff bought a whole new outfit (the advantage of going to Renn Faire with a whole paycheck in your pocket). I got to see the Shakespeare Skum and the Bloody Drama, hear the Rogues, and watch the glassblowing demonstration. The weather was gorgeous, and all in all I had a fantastic day.
