chibi_trillianIndependence Day fireworks early! Our transformer just went rather impressively. My laptop battery's going to expire before I get anything useful written--damn. I'd really wanted to write some more today. Maybe the power will come back on later.
ETA: Apparently, a truck driver (attempting to turn around somewhere he shouldn't have been) snagged his trailer on our power lines and pulled the pole over with much arcing of electricity and snapping of lines, hence the big badda-boom. BG&E is swearing we'll have our power back by 4:30pm today. I am not inclined to believe them.
4:33pm, EATA: Well, damn. They actually did it.
