A note to the Management.
Jul. 11th, 2006 07:58 pmDear LJ:
Your Navigation Strip is ugly and annoying. Please do not turn it on without my permission. Please do not turn it on without other people's permission. Please do not put the commands for making it GO THE FUCK AWAY it in a new, even more obscure section of the labyrinthine near-unnavigable clusterfuck that is the redesigned LJ Settings section. I do not need to be told that I'm looking at a friend's LJ as if I don't already know the people on my flist. I do not need to be told when I'm looking at my own journal, as my IQ is higher than the freezing point of water. I. DO. NOT. WANT. IT. And if I see your Navigation Strip on the street, it is on.
Love and Smoochies,
chibi_trillian
In my experience, when a website pitches an unnecessary option this hard, it's usually because they're planning on putting advertising on it.
ETA: OH SHIT. It's defaulted to "on" on all communities too. ARG. *headdesk*
