You know you've lived with somebody too long when you don't even ask "What in it?" when they say "Try this." Seriously, I'll eat anything that Tiff cooks without question. I'll just pop it in my mouth like a trusting little lamb, because she's never made anything bad. She's also gradually culturing my Irish-raised palate (wherein there is only one spice, and its name is "salt")--I can actually tell some of the most common spices apart by taste now. I'm such a food philistine. XD

Oh well. At least I knew that buying Tiff a new cookbook for Solstice was a good idea. Yey for Sanji-Usopp roommate relationships.

On a related note: What the hell good is a smoke alarm that goes off every time you open the oven?

Tasty meat! Well, tasty chicken, anyway.

The bad part about the smoke alarm going off for almost everything is that the thing stays disconnected except when there's an apartment inspection in the offing.
